Verification standard

Verification is a documented status—not a vague promise.

The same generic check cannot support every profession. LA Trusted Professionals is designed to show the source, scope, date, and limits behind every visible status.

Review framework · Not yet a live verification program
01

Five status levels

Profiles move from claimed to identity-checked, credential-checked, standards-complete, and maintained only when the required evidence supports that progression.

  • Paid relationship disclosed
  • Identity checked
  • Credential checked
  • Trusted status approved
  • Status maintained
02

Sources depend on the category

State licensing boards, bar directories, IRS records, SEC or FINRA systems, NPI, architecture and engineering boards, firm records, insurance disclosures, and references are used only when they fit the profession.

03

Corrections and renewal

Profiles need an update channel, dated source record, renewal interval, status expiration, suspension path, and revocation policy.

04

What verification does not mean

It does not prove superiority, guarantee an outcome, replace direct diligence, endorse advice, or create a professional-client or clinician-patient relationship.
